Download Client


H3C client authentication software can be downloaded from this website:http://zhxy.cufe.edu.cn/. Click “Downloads”, download it from “Common Downloads”, or you may take the thumb drive with you to copy the software in College Building No. 5 Room 117 in Campus Network Service Center Hall.

When installing iNode client, you need to default install paths. Do not need to change installation paths, or else you cannot open the client after installation.


When installing H3C client 5.20 for Windows system, you follow the configuration steps: start iNode client, click “Create a Cable Network Connection” to create a new connection, select authentication protocol, choose 802.1X protocol, click “Next” and “Connection Type”, select “Common Connection”, click “Next”, enter user’s name and password, click “Next”, select the correct local network card (other parameters choose default values), click “Finished”, click “Establish” , and authentication client configuration is done. When surfing online, first click the corresponding icon generated on the desktop to authenticate.


If, after installing iNode client, notebook computers cannot be normally logged onto the Internet, please click “Operation” in the client, click “Use Wireless Management of Windows”, and select “Yes” in the pop-up dialog box.


For Windows system to install H3C client 7.3, client configuration procedures are as follows: start iNode client software, click “ 802.1X Link”, enter user’s name and password, click “Attribute” in connection location and select the correct network card (If your computer has a USB external network card, please choose the network card with USB character), confirm, select “Connect”, and then you may log online.


For Apple MAC OS system to install H3C client 7.3, client configuration procedures are as follows: start iNode client software, click “Create Connection” in the top left corner, enter user’s name and password, and select en0~12 in network card options. Maximum network card is recommended to try connection.


A portal authentication is popped up in the library cable network for you to sign in. You do not need use iNode to sign in. When the Internet hookups of your computer and the library dock, login interface will be automatically be popped up, and then you need to enter account and password to surf the Internet.


Account Recharge

Campus network is accessible only after recharges, internet accounts recharges adopt the method of direct transfer recharge in the campus card, and specific operation procedures are as follows:

Select “Network Services”, then “Shahe Network Recharge”, and a prompt is given to read the card after clicking. A dialog box “Internet Fees Payment” in the campus card emerges; about H3C accounts, the default value is the cardholder’s 10-digit job number or student number (be it job number or student number, automatically supplement the first two digits of 00. Enter password (default 000000) and the payment amount for campus card, and click “Confirm”. If one wants to recharge for others’ accounts, change the Internet account into the 10-digit job number or student number of recharging targets, enter the password of this one-card pass and the recharge amount, and click “Confirm”.

Verify the contents entered, select “Confirm”, wait for the system to show “Recharge successful”, take away the card.


Account Login and Logoff

Start iNode client, enter user’s name and password. User’s name is the 10-digit student number while the initial password is the birthday number on the ID card (year of birth and date of birth) or 00000000. When one first successfully logs in, be sure to in time log onto User Self-service System (The website is http://wlan.cufe.edu.cn/selfservice/login.jsf) to change password.

When surfing online is finished, one needs to click “Disconnect” in iNode client to go offline. Do not plug the cable when the user is online. This is a non-routine operation, which may lead to abnormal fee deductions and users should pay for this.


Account Information Management or Query

All the students and teachers in school may check relevant information such as browsing records, finances and day-to-day bills through User Self-service Service System (The website is http://202.205.210.104:8080/selfservice/login.jsf).

Among these, cable network charging standard is: the policy rate for target users is 0.3 yuan per hour.
